Desirea Stodart specializes in realistic wildlife paintings and pet portraits. This past year has given her the opportunity to work on growing her art business with a focus on pet portraiture. To help set her work appart, she most often paints on non traditional surfaces, specifically offering her portraits on round woodslices. She believes the woodslice compliments each pet with its natural beauty and uniqueness, giving a one-of-a-kind quality. She loves all animals and is so grateful to be able to capture everything from the wild beauty of a tiger to the personal character of a beloved pet. The best part of her job is seeing the reactions of people who receive her paintings of their favourite animal or pet, and knowing that her artwork will be cherished.
