American artist Jennifer DiArenzo creates animal and pet portraiture in a variety of mediums, but focuses mainly on pyrography, or wood burning. She has been doing pet portraits professionally since 2005, but taught herself the art of wood burning in 2018 and fell in love with this unique art form. She loves being able to create lasting keepsakes of the lifetime of love that is shared with a pet, and loves how the natural medium of wood, as a canvas, makes each piece truly unique. Jennifer works from her home just outside of Philadelphia, PA, where she lives with her husband and two children, and the family chocolate lab.
